Arnold Dashefsky

Arnold Dashefsky was born in Philadelphia but Yiddish was the first language that he was taught by his parents, who were Jewish educators. That experience of living within two cultures inspired his later interest in sociology and Jewish Studies. The core theme of his research is Jewish identity, and his most recent book is about interfaith marriage.
